In this straight up basics video, I’m gonna show you how to switch between the three thumbnails YouTube auto-generates for every video uploaded to your channel.
Choosing a thumbnail for your YouTube videos
- Go over to the upper right hand corner and click on your avatar, then click on Creator Studio.
- Choose the video you’d want to edit then click ‘Edit’.
- On the right side of the video, you’ll see the three thumbnails YouTube auto-generated for your video. Choose the one you’d like to set as your thumbnail and just click ‘Save changes’.
As you get a little more advanced, you’ll want to start creating custom thumbnails. Those really help draw in potential viewers.
